All paws on deck for exciting new partnerships
In conjunction with their 50th year, Guide Dogs Queensland announces their 50th Anniversary Media Partners.
GDQ will work with News Talk 1116 4BC as their Broadcast Partner and Print Partner Quest Community Newspapers to help celebrate their Golden Anniversary and bring greater awareness to the needs of vision-impaired Queenslanders.
“We are honoured to be associated with these two outlets as we enter our 50th year of providing Orientation and Mobility services to Queenslanders who are blind or vision impaired,” said Marketing and Communication Manager Ms Donna Hurley.
“These partnerships will bring greater awareness to our extensive range of services, and help highlight the many exciting events we have planned to celebrate our 50th Birthday,” she said.
Brisbane-based radio station, News Talk 1116 4BC is providing generous advertising support and will fully sponsor their own ‘Golden Litter’. Listeners can tune their radios to 1116 AM and follow the litter’s journey as they make regular appearances in the studio of Afternoon’s presenter Peter Dick.
Quest Community Newspapers is offering valuable advertising and editorial coverage across all Brisbane and regional editions and will support events and promotions in 2010.
Events outlined for the year include International Guide Dog Day, International White Cane Day, and our 50th Birthday Open Day and Concert, as well as the ongoing call for Puppy Sponsors and Puppy Raisers.
