2012 Guide Dog Team Graduation

On Thursday 19 April, we celebrate the mobility and independence people with little or no vision can achieve through the eyes of a Guide Dog with our Guide Dog Team Graduation. 

This is a very special event held at our Breeding and Training Centre at Bald Hills with special guests including our Patron, the Governor of Queensland Her Excellency Penelope Wensley AC and her husband Mr Stuart McCosker.

We invite our Life Members, Puppy Raisers, Puppy Sponsors, Bequest Donors and close supporters to share this occasion which acknowledges those Queenslanders and Guide Dogs who have qualified as a 'Guide Dog Team' in the past 12 months.

This event is held in April each year on or around International Guide Dog Day which falls this year on ANZAC Day - the 25th of April. We are holding our Guide Dog Team Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, 19 April to avoid a clash with this important day of remembrance.
