International Guide Dog Day 2010 - In partnership with the International Guide Dog Federation.

We're 50 years young and planning big celebrations this year for our Golden Anniversary. International Guide Dog Day is held on the last Wednesday of April and celebrates the safe and independent travel that can be achieved by people who are blind and vision impaired.

This year, we continue to use the opportunity to raise awareness of the legal rights of Guide Dog teams, and celebrations will include a special Guide Dog Team Graduation ceremony at Bald Hills attended by Government Ministers for Disability and Community Services, Local, State and Federal MPs, as well as our loyal Puppy sponsors and supporters. This event is by invitation only.
