National Volunteer Week 14 - 20 May

Guide Dogs Queensland relies on volunteers to help raise funds, raise our puppies and keep operational costs to a mimimum through their contribution of time and energy.

We recognise the role of volunteers within our Association during National Volunteer Week (14 - 20 May) by holding get-togethers at our head office in Brisbane and in regional offices. Details of these events will be posted on this page as details are confirmed.

Our 'vollies' are recognised for their length of service and we endeavour to say 'thank you' to everyone who gives of themselves so generously to help us continue delivering services, free of charge,  to Queensland's blind and vision impaired community.   

•  The Brisbane Volunteer Morning Tea will be held at 10am, on 16 May, 2012
