Volunteer for Pawknock

Steve Cajun collects funds for Pawknock.Guide Dogs Queensland needs volunteers for our annual Pawknock Appeal. There's a variety of ways you can help our Appeal, and in doing so raise vital funds to breed and training our puppies and Guide Dogs.

If you have a few hours between 21st February and 6th March 2010, then you can sign up to our Pawknock and raise funds by knocking on the doors of neighbours, colleagues and local businesses seeking donations.

Each year, thousands of Queenslanders hit the streets in almost every suburb and town across Queensland. Our Pawknock volunteers receive a special Pawknock kit in the mail, before the Appeal, with everything they need. It includes special receipt books, fact sheets about the Pawknock Appeal and our association, maps of your nominated area and identification badges.

If you would like more information, Free Call 1800 007 460 and ask for our Pawknock Coordinator or email them directly at pawknock@guidedogsqld.com.au.

Online Pawknock Heroes

As 2010 sees Guide Dogs Queensland celebrate our 50th anniversary, we have again partnered with Everyday Hero to help make fundraising even easier.

Create your own Pawknock “Hero Page”; set a target and just email your friends, family and colleagues asking them for their support.

Your donors will receive an online tax-deductible receipt via email and can leave a message of support on your personal "Hero Page", and your "Hero Meter" will track the progress of your fundraising.

Click here to create your Pawknock "Hero Page" in three simple steps!
