Corporate Partners Program

Guide Dogs Queensland is committed to building collaborative partnerships with our corporate supporters in Queensland.

What is corporate partnership?

In the same way as we work with local communities and other agencies in delivering programs, we offer Queensland’s corporate sector many rewarding ways of becoming involved with our services, which equip, empower and educate blind and vision impaired Queenslanders.

Partnerships that Guide Dogs Queensland forms with the corporate sector are strategic and genuine attempts to build meaningful alliances.

How corporate partnerships work?

We offer a wide variety of workplace giving and marketing opportunities that can best suit individual company interests, schedules and objectives.
This tailored approach has allowed Guide Dogs Queensland to achieve many successful Corporate Partnerships with a range of different companies in Queensland.

A list of current corporate partners is available by clicking here on Our Corporate Partners.

  • Pro-Bono Volunteer days.

How will it benefit your company?

Organisations that develop corporate partnerships follow the path of ‘corporate responsibility’, with the aim to behave ethically and contribute to economic development, while improving the quality of life for its workforce, their families and the local community and society at large.

In today’s society, research shows that customers strongly support a company’s commitment to the local community.

Corporate Partnerships can:

  • Add to your overall corporate reputation
  • Enhance brand image
  • Build customer loyalty
  • Increases sales  Bovis Lend Lease staff help brighten up our Bald Hills training grounds.
  • Increases staff loyalty, motivation and retention.

A 2007 report by The SMART Company for the Charities Aid Foundation, titled the Changing Nature of Corporate Responsibility, found that partnership such as volunteer programs can bring significant benefits for companies, and play an important role in efforts to recruit and retain the best people.

One particular survey found that 92% of the employees asked said that they would rather work for a company with an employee volunteering project than one that does not. Nearly half (42%) say they are less likely to leave a job where there is an employee volunteering scheme.

We invite you to engage with us and, ultimately, help to reduce the disadvantage of vision impairment across the State.
