The Guide Dogs community is made up of many generous people who are at the heart of what we do and are essential to making our vital work possible.

Long-time supporter Dr Zita Penrose is one of many big hearted people who make an immense difference to ensure our services can continue well into the future, volunteering many times a week to support the puppies in the Breeding Centre.

Watching the pups grow at every stage of life and seeing the impact they have on the people they assist inspired Zita to consider how she could help in other ways.

“After volunteering with Guide Dogs for so long, I decided to include them in my Will,” Zita said.

“By leaving a gift to Guide Dogs Queensland, I know that somebody, or multiple people, will have freedom and independence as the money will help support them through programs.”

We rely on the kindness and generosity of people like Zita to continue changing the lives of Queenslanders in need each year.

Leaving a gift that will change lives is easy. Contact us, if you would like to find out more about leaving a legacy gift.
