This JulEYE, Guide Dogs Queensland is encouraging you to remember the importance of early detection and prevention of common eye diseases to limit the risk of permanent vision loss.
Eye diseases can affect anyone of any age so it’s important to be familiar with your family’s eye history and understand the warning signs of deteriorating vision. If straight lines or faces appear distorted, you feel your peripheral vision fading, or experience fluctuation in your vision notify your optometrist.
