If you’re looking for some help in accessing support and services but you’re over the age of 65, you unfortunately aren’t eligible to apply for NDIS. However, you may be eligible My Aged Care.

What is My Aged Care?
My Aged Care is a scheme that offers older Australians access to support systems and services that enable them to live their lives with increased comfort and independence.

Am I eligible for My Aged Care?
To be eligible for My Aged Care you must be an older person (usually 65+ or 50+ if you’re Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander) who is seeking help in your everyday life.

In order to establish whether My Aged Care is right for you, you’ll need to have a face-to-face assessment of your care needs with a professional. This is an important step in finding out which services are best suited to your needs.
